Dear Friend,
Your personal involvement is incredibly valuable and helps us to reach our goals of assisting in the building of a of a Gender Based Violence Resource Center called Wings of Hope. Tough Angels, Servant Forge, UNICEF, International Rescue Committee have collaborated together for The Kenya Gender Based Violence Partnership. Tough Angels is participating in an integral fundraising drive to raise $500,000 for Wings of Hope construction whose groundbreaking is slated for 2013.
Awareness is the first step to influencing change. Through my journals and photographs of what I’ve witnessed in my trips to South and East Africa, I hope that I’ve shown how together in our participation, we can make a greater difference. Tough Angels’ work encourages discussion, research, benevolent involvement and an attitude of a shared duty to protect and assist others.
